The Norwegian striker is back in Manchester to prepare for the new season. He appeared in 45 matches across all competitions and netted 38 goals in 2023-24, and after a well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle of top-flight football for over a month, the goalscoring machine is back to base.

Haaland has been joined by Kalvin Phillips, Jack Grealish and other first-team stars such as Ederson, Stefan Ortega and Rico Lewis. Croatian duo Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic will rejoin the group soon. However, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, Jeremy Doku, Nathan Ake and Manuel Akanji have been handed an extended break due to their Euro 2024 participation. Similarly, Phil Foden, John Stones, Kyle Walker and Julian Alvarez will be the last ones to join the team as they were involved in the Euro and Copa America finals with their respective countries.
