The Red Devils had a busy summer transfer window this time, with Manuel Ugarte being one of the top names that they managed to bring to Old Trafford. The Uruguayan arrived in Manchester from Paris Saint-Germain for an initial sum of €50 million (£42.3m/$55m) upfront with an additional €10m (£8.5m/$11m) in variables. On his first day at the club, the midfielder was welcomed by manager Erik ten Hag who took him in front of a wall for a photo shoot with the words 'United & Fight' in the backdrop.

The Dutch manager then told the club's media team, who were capturing the moment, "This is good [pointing at the wall] because this guy brings us the fight."
The ex-PSG star looked confused initially, however, he later said, "It’s an honour for me to fight!"
