Relevo have reported that Girona, who surprised the footballing world this season by piling the pressure on Real Madrid and Barcelona in the title race in Spain, are looking to sign the Spaniard this summer and have already contacted his entourage to examine the potential of the move. The Catalan side have confirmed their presence in next season's Champions League group stage and are considering adding the midfielder ahead of their bow in Europe's premier club competition.
