Internazionale president Massimo Moratti has revealed that his club have yet to reach an agreement with Manchester City to seal Mario Balotelli's transfer to England.
The 19-year-old striker is also reportedly deadlocked with the Citizens over personal terms, with Moratti hoping that the deal could move forward early next week.
He told Sky Italia:"For Balotelli to go to Manchester City, we are still missing an agreement with the club.
"We will probably talk about this on Monday to try and find a definite agreement with the English side."
Meanwhile, newly-appointed Citizens assistant manager Attilio Lombardo has talked up the potential of Italy Under-21 international Balotelli.
He added:"Of course if Mario were to come with us we'd be happy to welcome him.
"We are all convinced that Balotelli is a player of immense capabilities, a real champion who can change a game on his own.
"What's more, someone so young arriving in an important League like the Premier League can be a great experience and have an opportunity to grow."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
