Athletic are set to face United in the semi-final of the Europa League, with the first leg taking place at San Mames and the decisive second leg at Old Trafford. Now, Williams, who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, amid reports that Barcelona have given up on the prospect of securing his signature.

Williams is one of the most in-demand wingers in Europe and has also been linked with a move to Chelsea. This season, he has contributed five goals and two assists in the Europa League alone.

Williams told reporters: “Every kid wants to play at Old Trafford. “We’ll try to put our best foot forward in the first leg at San Mames to go there with determination and show what Athletic Bilbao is all about.
“This tie will have no favourite. Manchester United is at the bottom of the league, but they made it clear against Olympique Lyonnais what they’re capable with the way they handled the match.”
