Kyle Walker's time with Manchester City is reportedly set to draw to a close – regardless of whether or not he stays at AC Milan.

The veteran swapped City for Milan on loan for the second half of the season but now it seems he will not return to the Etihad. According to Fabrizio Romano, City will bring in a new full-back to replace the 34-year-old this summer.

The England international, who is currently out injured, will go down as an all-time great at City and as one of the Premier League's best defenders. But all good things come to an end, and it seems City are keen to move on some of their older stars, including Kevin De Bruyne.

Walker's contract with City runs until the summer of 2026 so perhaps they will look to get a fee for him if he is sold at the end of this season.
