It seems you just can’t win if you’re Arsene Wenger.
After last week’s humiliation at the hands of London rivals West Ham, Wenger will have been expected to make some changes to his side against Palace today.
And he has, with superstar Alexis Sanchez coming back in to the starting line up for the first time this season. But it seems it has been at the expense of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who was Arsenal’s only real positive against the Hammers last weekend and the match winner in the Community Shield victory over Chelsea two weeks ago.

So while Gunners fans are delighted to see their Chilean darling back in amongst it all, they’re equally annoyed that The Ox has been sacrificed in the process.
Shortly after the teams were announced this afternoon, Arsenal fans took to Twitter to announce their frustration that the rapid England man has been benched after two encouraging performances so far this season.
