West Brom’s Allan Nyom joined La Liga side Leganes on loan on Friday, after many Baggies fans had jumped to the defence of the 30-year-old after he received abuse on social media.
Nyom joined West Brom in the summer of 2016 in a £4m deal from Watford and initially impressed while playing out of position at left-back. However, the Cameroon international struggled last season as the Baggies were relegated from the Premier League and has continued that poor form into his two Championship appearances so far this season.
In the two league games that Moore has selected Nyom, despite registering an assist on the opening weekend against Bolton, he has looked out of his depth and has been a part of a back four that conceded five goals in those two matches.
However, some Baggies fans went too far with their attempts to force Nyom out of the club and he received abuse on Twitter and Instagram.

Fortunately this was certainly a minority of fans and many jumped to his defence, thanking him for his service to the club. Check out the best tweets below.
